Devin Biek and of Motion Left Mopeds, and Daniel Kastner of 1977 Mopeds show you how to rebuild a Puch E50 engine.

This rebuild includes installing a Puch Gilardoni 74cc kit. All parts are available at 1977mopeds.com.

  • What if you added the direction of the seals, and put the note to remove bearing seals earlier, it could be confusing.

    Also, what about the clutch side?

  • reeed valve but only 4 transfers, why not have boost ports above reed valve?

    and the tiny holes in the piston to feed crank case, could be bigger or cut a slot down cylinder?

    Interesting little engine though.

    I use same method to fit main bearings but the pro's say to use a device to push them on.

    also its good to match the transfer part of cases so that they line up with crank webs so that there is a smooth passage if that makes sense?

  • Sorry to ask so many worker bees suffer the burden that the dimensions of a piston diameter so that the crankshaft does not break a lot of compression.

  • Hi there... I have a puch maxi and the bearings just failed so I'm hopefully am going to rebuild the motor... How much money (dollars) is it to get new seals and bearings for the whole e50 motor
