On January 8, 1956, deep in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador, five missionaires (Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, Ed McCully, and Pete Fleming) were brutally murdered by a tribe of stone age indians. This video includes part of the memorial service conducted Jan 15, 1956 in Quito, Ecuador (audio); as well as some pictures and video footage of these men. This story, the commitment of these five men, has always challenged me -- As Dwight L. Moody once said, "The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to him." Did they have to die?
