This is a wonderful recording.
There once was a jazz club in San Francisco, on Green street, named Keystone Corner, and they used to have beer specials in the afternoon. Well, it was only a block from my school, S.F..A.I, and one Friday afternoon I fell asleep after a few pitchers and awoke later to Bill Evans and his trio playing this song.
The staff let me stay, I fell in love that night.

000h! I never should have left New York! I was thriving there in 1961. Just happened to enter the door to this room. Mid Village was ALIVE in 1961. Cheers!

Your photos of the West Village -- especially the one of Perry Street in the rain -- brought back a flood of good memories. Oh, how I miss New York!

Bill Evans was a pianist who had the soul in his hands. their performances were pure poetry. One of the unforgettable and fantastic jazz pianists in the history of American music.

@GodStarRevisited69 Seriously? This was a live recording pal. The sounds you hear in the background is the audience at the Village Vanguard. Thanks for the great advice, though.
