I grew up in Southwest Philadelphia. There are a thousand or more little joints everywhere in Philly where you can get a Steak Sandwich every bit as good or better than Pat's or Geno's. Pat's and Geno's is Public Relations spin. Get a good steak sandwich in any neighborhood in Philly.
