By the time that Horowitz made this recording he had evidently overcome the memory block, as evidenced in the video "The last Romantic," that occurred while playing the last twelve measures of this novellette.

  • I wish he was still alive :( /i want him to continue on this magic called music.

  • @crazyunicorn20 Great? No way. Maybe tolerable to those who want Horowitz complete - but as an example of his greatness, this is a parody of what he could do. I find even the lyric passages predictable and boring. Rubinstein sometimes played magnificent, even in his 90s, but this should never have seen the light of day.

  • @pian0nicky for a piece he almost hated and considering his age he did great.

  • Incredibly boring, pedestrian performance and uncharacteristic mistakes near the end. The worst Horowitz I have ever heard.

  • Incredible performance.

  • This man knew how to play the piano.
