no, taker had been using this theme for at least 6 months since mid 98. They actually changed it back to a version of the original derge theme after this at the royal rumble 1999, then they changed it again at WMXV to a version of this theme but with the chanting (stolen from the film 'Merlin').

Personally I always loved the theme on this clip, the chanting they added later was cheesy and this one has the cool guitar intro.

oh also, this clip is a bit different because when they were crucifying austin there was some weird monks chanting in the background. That isnt actually part of the theme.

I'm kinda obsessed with the undertaker's music as you can probably tell from this over-detailed explanation

There were multiple versions of this theme too. I believe the very first version of this particular theme used primarily chanting and less guitars and was VERY VERY good. I THINK it was used as his theme for Summerslam 98 and possibly shortly before that, but was replaced a very short time later by the version heard in this video.

The ECW crucifixion used an actual cross at least Taker used his symbol and called them sacrifices and not actual crucifixions.
