I have 3 thyroid nodules on the right...the biggest one being 3.4 cms. I had a biopsy on them 3 wks ago. I hated it...I don't understand why they keep u awake! throughout! it was scary. Im waiting for the results now.........wish me luck! :)

is the needle biopsy is painful?coz im having schedule for the biopsy done but im scared of needle.

J.L. As said in the video, The Dr. did NOT do the biopsy, but IF he had, He would have given me a shot of Novocain, like a Dentist would, to numb the area.

Did you have a blood work-up prior to the FNA? If so, how was your thyroid function?

I also felt a painful lump in my throat a couple of weeks ago and had an ultrasound, there two nodules and a cyst and a couple of lymph nodes. Now the lump has grown in a matter of days and i have to do a biopsy. I'm very scared but this video helped a lot. Thanks

Dude i have 5 and am geting 1 tomorrow only one mine are lymph nodes though 1.3cm is way smaller theen my smallest my largest is a lil over a inch good luck sir ttyl

I just had it done and it was absolutely painless so don't worry everyone.

Now we have the proof...it's official...I really am a... "pain in the neck," after all.

I am so glad to hear that it wasn't cancer! Your videos have been very informative and helping to those out there who have to go through the same thing, I have to get a thyroid scan and uptake tomorrow, very nervous about it, wish me luck that it isn't cancer. :)
