what a showcase of techniques! Fantastic playing Ben.

@sekazzi ya her interpretation felt lifeless to me.

Yang Xue Fei might play faster.
Speed is not the most important issue even in this music piece.
This gentleman really played it very well.
By the way, Miss Yang also went to UK to improve...............
The one Miss Yang played was 1998 before she got training in UK.

Domeniconi was born in italia but he lives in berlin but because Domeniconi's wife is turkish they go to turkey a lot. He became enamoured with turkish people and culture started the department for guitar studies at the conservatory in Istanbul and developed a compositional style that reflected the regional folk influence. there is a village called koyunbaba in turkey im not sure if its related to this song by the way koyunbaba means sheep-father / shepherd. just some info.

Very interesting video. When I heard XueFei Yang play Koyunbaba I really didn't think anyone would top that for me.
However, where she might be a bit more technically proficient, the author of this video plays the piece at a bit slower pace, putting more focus in tone and feel than just the complexity.
Great work. Would love to see one for El colibri or Sunburst.
