Hit teen TV show Degrassi has introduced its first trans character this season, and Xtra went on set to speak with actress Jordan Todosey, who plays the role of Adam. Watch our interviews with Todosey and writer Michael Grassi, and watch a clip of an upcoming episode featuring Adam.

I love degrassi. And, i guess it is pretty realistic. I mean, i doubt ALL of these situations happen at a single place but they all happen one way or another and the situations themselves are very realistic. So a praise the cast and producers. Plus, i like watching it xD ClaireXJake FTW!!!!!!!!

@bananaers1. I completely agree. This is by far one of my favorite storylines Degrassi has ever had. And the fact that Adam was the first transgender character in television history makes it all the more special.
