I talked to many Americans who finally found effective treatment for their afflictions only after moving to Mexico. We need to focus on what actually works, rather than insisting on the most expensive, high tech treatments that don't work anyway.

@fragman08 Obama was handed very much a "you broke it you own it" situation. Iraq is not likely to end up as any sort of democracy. It only exists because some English guy drew some lines on a map. It never really made sense as a country. It is likely that after the troop are all out it will fall apart into 3 sections. Getting more folks killed there makes no sense. The Afghanistan war was really lost by time he came into office and this is a new war.

The Nazi party purged all the real socialists but kept the name because it sounded good in German. They were fascists as Mussolini defined it. It was just like the republican party still calling its self "the part of Lincoln".

You are taking the position of the blind led by the blind on the road paved with good intentions. it always somehow ends up with Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao or Castro. Every time when person's responsibility for his own life is removed, there is an Order on call. And no one sells out faster than altruists. You just have to see it to believe it. @rusarch I am talking about the facts. You are spouting nonsense. Clinton left Bush a nearly balanced budget. Bush turned that into record deficits. The economy grew quite nicely under Clinton. The giant mess we have today is the result of republican policies. You can fume and howl all you want but the facts are against you.
