  • Well at least he wants to go through the amendment process for the balanced budget amendment, but I suppose Paul thought that despite some of the differences he was deserving of his support. But yeah, the federal school voucher idea is certainly a bad one.

  • Hammer of the State?

More like a hammer trying to break down the State!

  • Lew Rockwell is the hammer of the State, a concise economist, terrific speaker, knowledgeable representative of freedom and dedicated defender of the Austrian School. Similar things can be said of Murray.

  • cont.

He also wants a federally subsidized school voucher system, an amendment to the Constitution to balance the budget, the federal government to dictate a national language: all small-minded ideas usually reserved for neocons. There's more...

Why did Paul endorse him? They both hate the monetary system and have been friends for 25 years. And just so you know, that's most important issue to me as well, but that alone does not make him a RP Republican. Is he better than the alternatives? Yes.

  • Well, it's just so asinine on so many levels but at the top of list is the unfathomable amount of resources that would be required (3200 miles just along Canada alone). No doubt it would be the most expensive project in human history--and what would it do to the environment? That's some of the most pristine land on earth and it would be an ecological disaster. All this to keep out 'terrorists'. Lame!

  • What's wrong with fences again? And are there no compromises with you?

  • Fence works for me.

Less people for pushin and shovin in the soup lines that are coming.
