Little Joe came to me a dangerous, nervouse, non-trusting of people, more times than not would avoid contact and also not wanting to investigate situations or obsticles...holding his head up real high with a tight chin trying so hard to avoid looking at anything, his answer to all situations was flight...he wanted to leave and leave now, by shaking and then bolting any means possible. Little Joe has taken hours and hours and hours to gain his confidence and trust in obsticles and me.
Little Joe is very thin skinned very sensitive to any change in his environment, sensitive to peoples energy, very flight, jumpy, spooky.
The only thing consistant about Little Joe is that he is inconsistant from one day two days a week to the next.
He is not safe to have his feet balanced. One day or even one moment to the next he is calm and his energy feels safe the next moment he decides to see what you are made of and will kick your head off. His disposition is not consistant from one moment to the next.
In my opinion Little Joe is not a safe horse. He has hours and hours and hours on him, he has learned alot here with me, he knows his job, but one day or week or weeks to the next he is bolting and spooking and very resistant in the same situations.
I have spent hours and hours with this horse I understand how I need to use my energy to help this horse be in a more calm confident state..I want everyone to know I KNOW this horse is UNSAFE! maybe an experienced experienced rider can ride him...but I am telling you he is undependable all the time.
You always have to be ready to correct him, and ready for him to spook, bolt.or jump to the side.
I do not want to be responsible for anyone getting seriously hurt from this horse.

This is what I can do with Little Joe.I have helped this horse tremendous, It is amazing...from the state he came to me in...I know I can do anything I want with him...But I also know that I know that I know he is not safe.

Vicki I videoe taped this session today Nov.20 2011 for you. I have not touched him since Oct 27 2011 when i decided he is not prgressing and is just inconsistant The Oct 27th is the last session I did with him. He is who he is, he has been here since July 16 2011 in constant-consistant training. I have experienced this type of disposition and behavior before, and the owners got seriously hurt repeatedly.....Even after I got the horse to where I could steal a ride on them.... he is the type of disposition that will include continual committment to HOPEFULLY have him behave in a matter that is more safe.....For what I understand you want in a horse ride experience and what I call an enjoyble horse riding experience... I feel that I have done what I want to do...I do not want to take more of your money. Little Joe is who he is....in my opionion he is for more than an experienced rider...One day he is calm and doing his job...another day he is resistant and behaving dangerous for no reason other than this is what he chooses....Horses here have a set consistant program...they know their job and each session as the horse tells me he understands I will introduce alittle something else fun and mentally stimulating....he is not consistant calm and safe and predictable...he is more.... what I call horsey...more flight, you have to be on your toes all the time when up on his back......and some of the time on the ground.....I LOVE ALL HORSES.....Just as people, you have to see and accept each individual for who they are and their abilities....I am listening and watching and taking notes..Little Joe is demonstating to me....that he is the type of individual that whom- ever handles him requires alot of..... education and dedication, having horses sense and PATIENCE from who ever handles him.....I have no one I would or could sale him to Vicki. If he was even given to me I would not keep him...He takes alot of work and even then he is not a safe ride for me. But thats for me.....I do not want to put anymore time on him...because he is not progressing...and I love to put my time on an animal that wants to progress....
with him. He is who he is, he has ....

  • I was told this horse was tied up for at least 12 hrs a day, and "cowboys" were used to help with the horses in training, The good videos of him being ridden have been taken down, weird

  • He is doing just great now. Just acts like a green horse, no worries. Hes adoring being home, can give kisses and shake hand to hoof...Patience and time was all he needed..
