LOl! What a bunch of idiot execs. Kick em out! These morons are being paid millions to litigate dumbass intellectual property crap? They're THAT worried about a competitor getting in on the action, so to speak? It's just a fear of lossed profits, really. It has nothing to do with loss of innovation in the market. IP laws are obsolete, although they never were really advisable.
