Hey man great tone. What backing track is this? I am looking for more tracks just like this one. A link to the download would be much appreciated!!!1 Thanks!

That was some very nice playing.
-
please repost the ceriatone bass plexi videos :)

last question (i think i've fallen in love with your vid), where could i find the backing track you're using ?
-
sorry for all the questions, i'm in doubt between your amp and a ceriatone silver jubilee, for eric johnson's rhythm and lead tones. what do you think ?
-
did you use the maxon for boosting the amp or standalone OD ? great tone
-
did you get lucky with the recording tone or does it really sound like john mayer's tone ?
-
Really nice tone!!!. If you don't mind, what are your settings on the ceriatone and the maxon OD9. Thanks for your help.

great stuff!
How do you find the volume difference between th DSV+ and the single coils? It seems remarkably smooth in this clip. Is the humbucker lowered from the strings very far?

@imatube2 , it's pretty easy to balance the volume output really, the DSV+ is not an ultra hot humbucker. The main difference does not come from the volume but from the fact that the DSV is a lot more full of mids and sounds honky compared to the single coil pickups. You can hear that clearly in the recording. The humbucker sounds more "rock".

@mamasaid So how about comparing a DSV+ and SSV+? Which would you recommend more for jazz, blues and mainstream radio pop rock songs? I currently have a set of V60s in neck and middle and SSV+ in bridge..

@funkyj0seph, the SSV+ is supposed to have less fat mids than the DSV+ so I guess the SSV+ should be better for mainstream pop.

Man...beautiful ballad and playing! Tone tone tone! Why did you chose the 87 over the 86?
dparel 1 year ago
@dparel, the 86 is a bass amp.
