Even with a Crochet Hook, one will be dreadballing. I just like this method, and it works for me. (Obviously) The balls may pop out more often, but they stay in eventually. Hope this helps, guys. :) I also answered a couple Shower/Cleanliness questions that I have been asked, too. Thanks again, SPear.

  • I thought you'd like to know that your video is being posted and used on a site in a negative way.

  • @RiverGrad07 I definitely do want to know this. Which site might that'd be? Not "dreadlockssite" is it? Thanks for the info, bro.

  • do u do this offten?

  • @guitarsalert Not as often as I should. I've gotten increasingly lazy with my dreads, but maybe once every couple of months, yes. Definitely moreso after showers.

  • yo not to sound negative or nothin but your hair must grow fairly slow, im comparing this video to your latest one and it doesnt seem like you got that much length, our dreads were the same length when you made this video and now mine are past my chest,do you trim yours?

  • Hmmm... are yours the same age as mine? I'm only at 11 months right now (which I still haven't made a video for.)

I haven't really trimmed my dreads. I used to with my first set. I feel like they're growing at an alright pace though. Or, at least, they are FINALLY longer now. How long have you had yours?

  • the hook is just a easier way of doing what your doing.

  • @hondapunx Yes it is.

  • ur dreads would look better if you did it with the crochet hook... it makes the dreads look as good as new...it doesnt let the dreads look loose and messy...if you dont put the loose hair back in the dreads...your dreads are going to look dirty even if they are not.

  • how often should i wash my hair if i just started?

  • yessir

  • No it didn't. Now get back to playing with your hair.
