PAX East 2010 Keynote - part 1

Wil Wheaton giving the opening keynote to 4000 PAX East attendees crammed into the Main Theater at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Estimated attendance of PAX East is 50k, so these videos are for the 46k that were unable to be present.

Please forgive my unsteady hand, the exposure and focus tinkering in the first few minutes, and the occassional noise from the surrounding people. Enjoy.

Not a problem at all. Lines like these became common in 2007, and they've only grown larger. I'm hoping the administration will come up with some clever way to address this problem in the upcoming years (distributed video through the convention for Main Theater events?), but until then this felt like the best way to give everyone access.

I do want to thank the Enforcers for allowing me to bring the camera, and for Wil for allowing everyone to record him.

Thanks for the thought, but I've already had to depart PAX for various reasons; perhaps at PAX Prime. In the mean time, you could chat up Fixer re: Shadowrun, if you're looking for conversation while on duty. 3-close is one of the longest shifts I've heard.
