I could not get pass the first 5 minutes of this. It says all Chapmans words are his own, yet he says "My whole life has been pointed in one dirction, I can see that now. There has never been any choice for me". That is directly from Taxi Driver. I have never read anything about Chapman being influenced, let alone ever seeing Taxi Driver. I liked the way Chapter 27 was made better.

I watched both films, this one and "Chapter 27" yesterday. Both depicting Lennon's killing. Although Jared Leto (in Chapter 27) bears a closer resemblance to Chapman, this is the better film. "Chapter 27" depicts the 3 days leading up to the act. This film depicts three months. One odd note about "Chapter 27" The name of the actor who plays John Lennon is Mark L. Chapman.
