Save Sharks, Don't Serve Them - A Message for Governor Jerry Brown from the Galapagos Islands

100,000,000 sharks are fished every year for their fins to become..shark fin soup. 80% of the planet's sharks have been fished from the oceans, leaving only 20% to hold on while Sharks species face foreseeable extinctions.
California is proposing legislation to ban all shark fins state wide, saving hundreds of thousands of sharks.
The people have spoken and the state senate has voted for protection. The only signature left is Governor Jerry Brown to bring this monumental legislation into fruition.

How disappointing it must have been to discover near on 400 sharks were recently taken by 1 vessel from this World Heritage Protected area... not probably as much though as those who had to weigh measure & document every single carcass, only to put them back where they came from, lifeless.

I hope this impacts Californian Senators in the same manner - Paul Crooks
