Very interesting. The blackholes part has just been hyped up by the media. There is every chance of blackholes being created during the experiment, but these are not the same as the big ones at the astrophysics level. These will just decay and vanish within less than a billionth of a second. No chance of affecting us as they are very very very tiny and do not have enough matter/energy in their vicinity to swallow and grow bigger or become stable. relax people these wont eat up the earth planet.

Pretty good talk. However, the title is very misleading. Where is the symmetry, extra dimensions, etc. Its really about how the LHC collects and analyzes information.
