Jumping in, grabbing the guy, and refusing to let go of him so the cops could finish the arrest is interference. It wasn't about "speaking out" it was about her being abnoxious. Geez, do people seriously have this horrible of rationalization skills anymore??
You are right, speaking out against something is NOT interference. HOWEVER, jumping in, grabbing ahold of the guy being arrested, and refusing to let go and get the hell out of the way when told to IS interference. Is it that hard to understand?
You are the one who "just don't get it!!" The cops were not there to "break up a legal gathering", they were there to arrest a protester who was causing problems. It had nothing to do with the protest. The guys car was being towed and he caused problems over that. Then the arrestees friends jumped in, interferred, and refused to obey the order given to them, numerous times, to leave and stop their behavior. This was about a bunch of hippies trying to be drama queens, nothing else.
These people were blatently interfering and defying numerous orders. The guy being arrested was asked numerous times to move his car from a "fire zone" and refused to do so. He gave the tow truck driver problems when they were called resulting in the police response and his arrest. In an interview he admitted he refused to move then made a bunch of whiney excuses. My question is this, when did people start feeling so frickin entitled and spoiled. These people earned there treatment. Simple!!
In continuation: The first guy was arrested, and the old white haired dude jumped in and interfered with the arrest by hugging the guy and not letting go. As evidence in the video, he was told multiple times to leave and quit interfering, as well as was the female. They refused after being told at least 3 times, then they were pepper sprayed. I'm all for not living in "Nazi" wherever, but, Geez man, these guys were just acting absolutely like assholes and earned that treatment
Ummmm....first of all this video was shot in Canada. It was the RMCP (royal mounted canadian police) I believe is what it stands for, therefore this has nothing to do with Police in America. 2nd: In a news interview, the guy being arrested admitted that he was told numerous times to move his vehicle because it was in a fire zone, and he refused. When the tow truck finally arrived he got stupid with the driver, hence the cops were called. The other guy was interferring
Uhm, yes he did do things that were wrong. There is a reason.
