Here is a tutorial on using Httrack to download websites for off line viewing. Ninety nine percent of the people on the web will use this software responsibly. This tutorial is for that 99%. Downloading Websites was created by Mike Lively Director of A&S Instructional Design at Northern Kentucky University NKU.

  • Sure - I agree - this is a basic introduction for people who have no experience with mirrors. I generally find it very useful when instructors give me an html website to modify but don't give me the files. I demonstrate its use in Part 1 of Making Over the Rhine in FLEX.

    There are a host of tools to use - depending on the job - and as technology changes tools loose their viability if not updated.

    Wiki's are database driven - different tools for that one.
