I really don't understand why Celine was singing a half lip-synched Power of love with a fake final high note during the taking chances tour instead of singing a simpler version as this one. It may not be a long sustained note but it's live!

@celinedion57155 ,the ONLY way to tell if a performance is lyp-synced is to be at that performance. Most You Tube videos can be and are altered. To say a performance is lyp-synced when you are supposedly a Celine fan is disparaging to say the least! As you say, believe what you want. Keep it to yourself. 'Celine Fan"

Everybody shut the fcuk up already. Whether she lips syncs or not, get OVER it! There's nothing you can do about it. Just watch the fuckin videos and enjoy! Geeeeeeez! You act like it's easy to sing her songs day in and day out.

@galanie i am so agree, especially now, she has more technique and singing and enjoying the song together, thats why sometime it look like lipped because MOST OF THE SINGERs hit the high note with a pressure face and she has not those faces, that made many people thought it is lip sync.... people are not perfect, sometimes when hitting those high notes can out of tone a bit !!! but i'll tell guys, she is truly simply, the best, and amazing singer, mother, and exemplary !!!

@fontenayperi because during the tour she got a serious throat infection and wasn't able to get the high notes. it put to much strain on her vocals.

You are absolutely right. YouTube videos can be and are altered often. There is no way you can tell if something is lipped by watching a video on YouTube. I've seen her live and trust me, it was live. She might lip on occasion but I know it's just to preserve that amazing voice and she can still hit all the notes perfectly. Not as easily as when she was young, but she still sings amazingly.

People that try to make it seem she lips often are simply trying to make her look bad.

Let me tell you sth: Celine is 11 years of my life, she's the reason why I spent 410 € to see her in Paris, the day after my birthday in 2008! I went there with my mom cause I was only 14, and I cried during all the show! And you know why?Cause I was realizing my dream: see her and hear her! I've been a fan since I was 5, I saw her on TV in 1999, and I didn't forget her until 2002 and her come back!So how dare to say that I'm not a fan?

@Dallas3212 , not sure. Some people are "sure' she's lyp-syncing when she's not. Saw an explanation on a You tube where it looked like a lyp-sync yet people who were at the performance swear it was live. A "tech type" called it an dub-over or an over-dub, can't recall which, in which Sony decides to use an earlier recording, which Celine duplicates almost perfectly time after time, instead of the original. He also said it was for reasons unknown to him.Celine missed over 100 performances.cont'd
