Featuring EMG 85 pickups and Kahler 2215K tremolo with locking tuners, the Gibson Shred-X Explorer is one of Gibson's limited edition guitar series. Personally, I was really disappointed with the guitar and returned it back to the store shortly after I purchased it.
The guitar has the following qualities:
. Beautiful, classic body design . Kahler features both tremolo and fixed bridge mode . The neck provides easy access to higher frets
On the other hand, the guitar has these flaws:
. Guitar should have a locking nut rather than locking tuners. I experienced HORRIBLE tuning stability with the tremolo (NOT Kahlers fault). Locking tuners do not perform as well as a locking nut, particularly with a system like Kahler . The guitar was way too heavy in weight. My back would hurt after playing the guitar for a short while . Stainable finish. I saw light stains on the body the first time I cleaned the guitar . Lots of fret buzz with low action

they sucked badly you're way better off with jackson kelly or esp ex or a agile ghost plus there like 550 bucks with emgs and a floyd rose plus there 25.5 scale so its definitely better than a explorer
see what i do is then i bought eerny ball skinny bottem heavy tops so when i play heavy stufff on top its super heavy and thick and when i solo on bottem the strings are skinny bendable and comfy so......try that out ?
