  • Nope! Its a 4age Toyota engine, check my newer vids, now has a 20valve Toyota and 170bhp!!

  • I am thinking about buying a 76 midget. Can one put a chevy inline six in place of the original 4 cyl. motor?

  • I think a 6 cylinders, would be pushing it, 4cyl, 16 valve is tight enough.

  • Anyone else wondering if a Buick 215 would fit in the engine bay of a midget? With fabrication work (and subframe connectors), I think it would be a good idea

  • @BYD1380 the 4.3L chevy v6 will fit the 1975-79 midgets, it seems to be a pretty popular engine for them.

  • Is there an original 4 cyl under the hood?

  • Is this a rubber bumber convited? i am 16 17 next may i have a 1500 in middle of doing things to it should be a good first car alot more fun than a corsa or saxo anyway lol

  • i restored one of these and the guy i bought it from had an mg with a 6 cylinder Toyota engine in it. and a company in france puts v8's in them, so a six could very well work
