Tigard Woman Killed In DUII Hit-And-Run

The victim's Neighbors have recieved reports from Family and Friends of the deceased lady, Pamela Bowder, that the Victim was on her cell phone claiming she had won a large sum of cash at a bar and was sure a man was following her. Even if the investigation is unable to tie him to the bar she was at, it is not right that he was bailed out of jail for 25 grand the same day he killed her. This is another legal travesty in Oregon history, thus far. I will be following this case as it happened in an area where I frequently visit friends. I am not a fan of the Washington County legal system and this incident further taints my views against Washington County.

Her memorial is at cook park on July 5th at 3pm if anyone is interested, there is also a fund set up at US Bank if anyone is interested in helping her kids. Please remember this family in your prayers and meditations as they endure this tragedy.
With the 4th of July coming up I urge all to be careful and remember that Driving Drunk is as moronic as lighting off large firecrackers while holding them.

e car carried her body down the road.. her purse, cell and blood were just on the sidewalk.. her body about 20 feet down. I would love to have more information about the money she had on her, or why she was telling a friend on the phone that she scared and being followed! Police can only tell me and my Dad so much... do you have any info? I can't believe the courts would allow him to be released at all. Most DUI cases would require a minimal retainment (24-48 hour hold) I hope that kid goes through the same loss when he gets older. You can't get away with something like this w/o some form of suffering. GOD BLESS THE VICTIMS FAMILY. My heart goes out to you all!!!!

I am also curious to know how this turned out. I know the family members moved away from the area where the accident occured. The roadside memorial flowers remain and occasionally new ones appear at the site. This was such a tragedy. My condolences to her family and friends. May the perp be prosecuted to the fullest extent of law. If not, may Karma bring an even sweeter justice in this case.

November 18,2008 The date for Jeffrey Lieferman. Does any one read or review this? Nothing on the news tonight. Was there court today? Did justice get served? I was a friend of Pam's, I worked with her @ George Morlan Plumbing. Probably her only female Friend.

I had pieced together much of what you detailed but I don't know anything further. I sent Wash Co. Sheriff an email informing him that I hope they are interviewing people from that night at the bar since there are concerns of foul play.

Hopefully someone will come forward if their is foul play. If someone other than the man who hit her got the money then they also cast more suspicion on him even if he was not following her before he hit here. Thank you for setting the record straight.

No, what really happened was, the oldest son came upon Pam in the street, while his girlfriend was calling the police, the son called his grandfather... who then called me.. Pam's youngest sister. It was my dad that then called the oldest daughter celebrating her birthday... I got to the scene just after my Dad. So the 'father' they are reporting is actually grandfather... the oregonian actually got alot! of things wrong.. I laughed when I read it, and I was the one she interviewed! Oh and th

I wonder what his blood alcohol content measured by the time he was arrested. He must have been quite hammered (unless he is a total lightweight) to be hitting so many things driving home; Unless he had run her down for the money she had on her and then was counting what he had just picked up while accidentally hitting the traffic island.

It appears from information gathered and viewed at the scene that She was hit on the corner and then dragged father down the block. It is like he may not even have slowed down after he hit her.  One news report also stated that accident investigators believe he also hit a traffic divider island and damaged it a few blocks later.
