H&K USP .40 Fullsize Sand Test

Quick sand test with the H&K USP.

From watching other people's videos, I gathered that the HK USP full sized versions are generally much more reliable than their compact counterparts.

Not content with merely watching videos however, I decided to do a simple test myself. It functioned as expected.

The USP was run completely dry for the test. A lot of sand actually got inside the slide, and I could feel the grittiness as I racked it. Ran without a hitch though. After the test I took off the slide, shook out most of the sand and then washed it out with a bit of my drinking water. Afterwards I fired around 50 or so more rounds without issue.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the reliability. Every handgun should be at least this reliable, if not more so.

i like the gun but i think you should have poured a pound of sand over it

@Otacon237 i agree , when i got my hk i got 2 extra magazines for 20 bucks he had 6 of them . i regret not getting more
