i first heard this song in 2009 on the radio and i thought that the girl singin sounded beautiful but what i really wanted to know was who tha hell was just wearin the bass out. i thought it must have been some guy that was a 45 year old jazz master that i simply didnt know about probavly kicked it with george duke or somethin like that. then i found out it was this cute early 20 somethin year old girl doin the damn thang. i was shocked and amazed

@marciliz i heard and seen her at the Jazz Festival in Chicago this year!
In fact me and the Gwendolyn Brooks jazz band played in the young lions stage this year 2010!!! she is excellent and i idolize her this is why i just started playing bass along with piano it was a great experience !!!! Our band has been blessed with allot of opportunities this . She is the most amazing bassist ever!!!!

Yes, I captured this using a Sony HDR-HC7. The transfer from my camcorder to YouTube was crappy, but watchable. Also, I was standing like 100 ft from the stage, so I used a lot of zooming. But as far as I could see, she is very stunning in person.
I'm not sure when she's coming back to the D, but I'll post something on here if she does.
