Re-Encoded for HD quality (using a larger video version and Adobe Premiere Pro)
Filmed and edited by VCT student: Steven Boatman (me). I used Final Cut Pro for editing. This is my first project for Intro to Video (VCT 268) for my major. The assignment required at least 1 minute of the entire video and a type of music that tells/aids the story being shown. Clearly, this video is more than one minute long.
The music that I was looking for was not the type I was looking for. I was seaching for orchestral music, but apparently I cannot discern very well due to my limited listening ability. I ended up with band music according to people who viewed this video and I realized that was the problem. However, I thought I matched the music's tempo or rhythm well to different parts of the video. I would like to replace it with orchestral music eventually.
It was really nice to see everything falling in place during the editing process in Final Cut Pro. I really liked how it turned out given the basic nature of my camcorder and my limited experience. Overall, it was very satisfying to see my story on film from the beginning where the story was swimming around, solidifying in my mind.
MASTERPIECE OF MODERN HORROR.
