@Msgrv32 Iraq is already comparable to Somalia, we cannot create change in either Iraq, Afghanistan or Somalia until we truly understand the problem. Its not terrorism, terrorism is simply reactionary to social stratification inherent in these countries. However i feel this more likely reflects on the Roman occupation of Gaul.

Iraq will never become Somalia, making the argument that it will is very silly.
Silly!

way to burst my obama bubble hahaha, it was good while it lasted...

Pullling out of Iraq is the right thing to do. But if the US pulls out fast and Iraq collapses into a failed state like Somalia, Islamic civil war and extremism will pioson the middle East.
Afghanistan is already falling apart, and to stabilise the country terrorists havens in pakistan must be wiped out.
Obama is being practical. He didnt start these war but he knows that if he ends them irresponsibly the US and many other countries will pay dearly.
He has to clean up the mess not walk away.

LOL! God help us (protect us from your most ardent of followers!)!!!

LOL that's highly unlikely. When that year rolls around you'll blow off the dust from those Obama signs and start campaigning for him once again. why you ask, two words: Sarah Palin.

you should be looking at a spectrum of anarchy (no govt) to monarchy/oligarchy (total govt control). fascist and socialist require total govt control. Our republic is/was set up to protect the 49% from the 51% (democracy). There are many videos/books on the subject. A democracy/socialism is the worst form of govt, because the many (51%) can dictate what the few (49%) can do & that's why I equate fascim and socialism in which individual freedoms don't exist. Capiche?
there was no need for prediction
He has always threatened Iran
He threatened Russia During the Georgian conflict
He threatened Pakistan
He voted for FISA
He voted for the Bailouts
He has always maintained that we will maintain a " presence " in Iraq
He even changed his " Universal " healthcare rhetoric to " affordable " healthcare
There was no need for predictions, Chomsky knew what he was doing.
