i was a pog. still got my confirmed kills and left iraq with scars that will be with me forever. infantry has it harder without a doubt, but that doesnt mean Marine pogs sit around all day and dont engage enemy fighters

It's true! If the lines are depleted, then any clerk, cook, or whatever will run to the sound of the gun and take the place of dead infantry. Every Marine a rifleman, that means exactly what it says.

alot of people on here are missing the point, whether their p.o.g.'s or not their still Marines, and no matter what your MOS, being a Marine sets you apart from any other branch of service. and lets not forget the fact that every Marine is a rifleman.
