I felt physical pain of nostalgia on hearing this, music is so damned powerful, my whole life rushing by in 3.38 minutes. Absolutely wonderful.

Just one more word to describe this sound.......LUSH !!

This record just SPELLS The 60's in one and every memory one has of them in under 3 minutes (The Beatles, The Stones, Dr Who, Thunderbirds, 007, Twiggy, The Avengers, Carnaby St, Radio Caroline, Red London Buses, Smiths Crisps with a little blue bag of salt, and of course proper warm 'real' Christmas's with our Mums and Dads and families).
My Dad also loved this track and I see his 'Image' every time I hear it.
Warm memories indeed !!
Lovely nostalgic post, thank you !!

Only one word about this track from Manchesters Alan Haven....AWESOME!

I never thought that I would ever hear this song again the last time probably being 1967. The memories just came flooding back. Thank-you so much JimmyTheFerret. I always listened to Caroline North with Baby Bob and "your DJ Michael A",Mike Ahearn and of course "Look out street" Jack Spektor. What times! I detested Tony Benn when the Pirates were shut down and I still do, the rotten old git.

Never heard this before I love it so 60s thanks for posting.
Yes where did it all go...the Pirates of the 1964 to 1967 period..can you believe it is over 40 years since this happened. It seems like yesterday that I was listening to Caroline London England City and all the other free radio stations. If you didn't live through that period, you will never understand what it meant to us teenagers then...

@colin803 Hi Colin. Just noticed your comment on this 'ere video of mine. I'll tell you where some of the pirate radio jocks have been recently. My other main hobby, besides collecting sixties music and sticking videos up here on YT, is metal detecting. Earlier this year I had a great day out detecting with Ron O'Quinn, former boss jock on Swinging Radio England, and Steve England, former Radio Caroline jock. Great day of digging and hearing stories of the fabulous pirate days.
