And in the skyline part of the Channel 5 News Tonight open, you guys can notice that they not only removed the light borders from the Renaissance Building, they haven't put that little antenna/pyramid at the top. I believe that wouldn't come until '87.

I think Brad Wright has a PR company in DFW now. He went from KXAS TV to WBAP radio and then out of the broadcast biz.

Harold Taft died in 1991, Alyce Caron is now on HSN and as for Brad Wright, who knows?

This sounds like April 15 to me. In the Channel 5 News Tonight part of the clip, you can see that they're talking about the midnight dash to the Post Office (which probably references to the tax-filing)
