BrewDogTokyo*: Britain's Strongest Beer

This is a brand new beer from Scotland's BrewDog and it's the current strongest beer brewed in the UK at 18.2%. It's an imperial stout brewed with cranberries and jasmine, aged on toasted French oak chips and fermented with a champagne yeast.

It's huge, loads of port-wine character, darkest dark chocolate, cherries and a fruity-floral bitter finish. Pretty damn great.

Go to Utobeer in Borough Market (London Bridge station) as they sell a few of the range. The Rake is their little sister pub which is also in the market and often sells their beer. That's your best bet. Enjoy London!

Drink your way through their range, they have a great selection of beers and really are pushing beer boundaries in the UK.

wow 18 percent. dogfish head world wide stout is 18 percent. only could get down half it, and it cost 10 bucks. you don't do a lot of reviews, but when yo do you make it worth watching. i liked you showed both versions. i'm gettig drunk watching you drink this... but that could be to that im drinking a beer while watching the video ;) good stuff.

Beer Advocate, Rate Beer and San Koch himself diagree with your opinion. Tokio is much more viscous. I had Worldwide Stout's 2002 vintage that was 23%. The only better stout was Weyerbacher's 13. Tactical Nuclear Penquin is a joke. Freeze concentrated beers to increase strength. Horseshit novelty. Sam adams 2011 Utopias is still the strongest TRADITIONALLY BREWED beers that do not employ the stupid freeze concentrating made popular by Aventinus's Eisbock.
