That's awesome! Yeah I spent 5 weeks in Oceanside, CA in San Diego County. Just passed through LA on the way back home. San Diego had clear skies every day I was there, good stuff! :D

  • @AnotherSchmoe I live in Temecula, about 70 miles southeast of Downtown L.A. (away from the LA Metro area) and we too get blue skies year-round. Lot of open space and wildlife. On most nights, you can see the milky way, it's stunning =)

Yeah I passed through LA about a month ago. Didn't visit just stopped over for a few hours to make a connection (riding the Amtrak train). It was REALLY nasty, brown haze all over everything. I don't think I could live in a place like that (not to mention it's expensive as all heck to live there, pay a ton for that overcrowding and smog).

Then again I've spent the last 8 years living in the Ozarks in Arkansas so I'm accustomed to cheap land and blue skies. ;P

  • damn it's so hazy
