Honister Gazelle Helicopter - Part 1 of 2

A ride in a Gazelle helicopter over the Lakes in England. Pilot and owner of Honister slate mine Mark Weir, sadly died recently when his helicopter crashed (March 2011). He was a real gent, charismatic and totally passionate about flying. RIP.

This video shows Mark describing start up procedure and taking off from his home near Keswick.

Hi Jack. Was a big shock to us. Our thoughts are with jan and the kids.

When I looked at this video I thought something was familiar. I remember flying with you and Mark to honister last year and then onto the Underscar mansion. I'm also the person on the far left 2:34 . Its such a tragedy about what happened to Mark earlier this month.
