  • Nice vid/caps. If you do it again, may I suggest doing the proper route through Sutton!

  • Isn't that Sutton at about 30 seconds? where there is the underpass and roundabout at the top, and Sutton hospital? the line branches there or near, if I was coming the other way and carried straight on down the line would end up at the main dock, as you can see I am approaching from Stepney area.

  • This was a super video! It was so enjoyable to see the old country again. I grew up in Sutton- on-Hull. thank you!

  • Well, somebody promted me to try it again!

  • is this route ok for a road bike with 700x23 tyres? Thanks

  • I've cycled this track many times, I planned on doing something like this but in about four parts, I used to be able to get from Preston Road to Hornsea in less than an hour. It'll never happen now because my mountain bike is past it's working life, so I'm glad that somebody (You) made this instead. You never know, you might have cycled past me.

Also, LMAO at "Pikeys" - many a time I would get to the Bransholme bit and see burning stuff and have drunken chavs yelling at me, ah, Hull.

  • Ah Hornsea nice little village i always go there i heard about the old hornsea line its ashame they closed it

  • What A Brill Idea

  • Ahhh here it is!! Thanks... sooo many people have been asking me to locate this!! (:

  • Nice work. A guy called Kevin Walton did this back in about 98 too, it ended up on Channel Four's "Short & Curlies" strand but haven't seen it since.

  • hi nice vid used to travel on the line as a kid geting on at steppney lane resentley walked the line with my dog for charity shame it went how did you speed up the film nick cox

  • Cool video, such a shame that tosser Beeching closed all our great lines and stations. We would be much better off today for them. But a very intresting video, shame it could not have been a little higher def though.
