This is one of Children Of Bodom's best works, I love it and I was dying to post it ehehe. Just feel the pain in it \m/

This is a vocal cover I've made for Children Of Bodom's Everytime I Die from their third album Follow The Reaper. I've recorded my voice with a Shure PG48 (XLR) microphone through my Pod UX2 into Mixcraft, using Gearbox, and I never apply any effects on it, for vocal recordings. That includes also editing tracks, my growls/screams aren't edited by any means, as i stated on the other videos.

I didn't post any video, this is audio only (as you can obviously see lol) because I don't have a cam yet, but i will upload another version of it less "studio style", more like straight forward with some action hehe, sorry for that, though :) (copy paste! xp)

he used to do death till follow the reaper and he's been doing fry i think :D sometimes it does seem like false chord though, specially when he's performing live.

Did you think about reversing the phase of one channel on the recording to remove the stuff in the center of the mix? On most recordings, they put the vocals in the middle of the mix, so it would cut most of it out, maybe make it easier for your voice(which is awesome) to occupy it's place. Want me to email you a track for an example?
