How to Install a Large Vinyl Decal or Sticker

If installing a smaller vinyl decal, then the hinge would be at the top of the sticker and then squeegee down instead of across.

This is a great video, and I recommend it very often. *However*, my only issue with it is the use of glass cleaner at the beginning. Yes cleaning is very important, but I would not recommend a glass cleaning product such as Windex or similar, very possible for it to leave the glass slick/slippery which can make application difficult. Best to use plain water, or a very very mild soap & water solution, or household rubbing alcohol - I prefer alcohol.

@Geminis076 Thanks for the comment. Alcohol does work good to clean with... If there is a lot of road grime, then use Windex and then use alcohol. The adhesive in a good quality vinyl, like the Oracal we use, will stick to the glass as long as it is pretty clean. A lot of road grime and wiper swipes have been over this decal and it still looks brand new. But using a degreaser like Dawn dish washing soap/water and then follow up with alcohol will make sure the surface is very clean. Thanks.
