For my 300 Subscriber Special, I decided to do a Blind Run through a Rom Hack of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES.

  • wow at the end.

  • @kprime284 Heck Yeah, I enjoyed this hack personally. It's nice to have new stages in this kind of a Turtles Game.

  • That part with the helicopter things seemed annoying to get through.

    Lmao at Shredder Slap :P

  • @stonercrazyclips222 Oh yes, yes it was. I was getting tired of being knocked down over and over, lol.

Yeah, I don't know what happened there. Odd glitch, haha.

  • I would have just tweaked the game a little to "fix" it-make the enemies occasionally drop pizza along with weapons, add time to the dam stage and prune the seaweed a tad. Probably make mike+raph a bit more powerful.

  • @Redmage1987 You did a good job playing this blind. It would of taken me awhile to do this. I enjoyed watching your entire playthrough on this. I was wondering when someone was going to make a hack for this awesome title. Impressive!

Frank, I commend you for this creation.

It is a beautiful hack! (Wait, isn't that an oxymoron?)

So glad RedMage was able to show off your work for the world!

"Apparently Shredder REFUSES to believe what just happened!"

I think he speaks for all of us. I'm so glad to see an actual "Shredder Fight" on a Youtube TMNT playthrough. Just about everybody spams him with scrolls. You are to be commended for this, Redmage!

Now I'm curious to know if that glitch will happen everytime you beat him proper with Raph. I'm guessing you simply hit Shredder at a certain point in his animation which probably triggered an error on the ending sequence.

  • Wonder how the heck that happened at the end of the game. Maybe it's a Raphael thing? I'm not sure if I've ever tried beating him with Raphael before.

Originally the Metroid enemies were going to be in all three caves. Turns out they were way, way too easy, though: you almost had to try to get hit by the jellyfish things =P

The Rat King enemies might be slightly easier than the Technodrome enemies there, but the biggest plus is that they don't pack as strong a punch if you do get hit.

  • Finally a hack for this
