Buchanan was a senior adviser to American presidents, Nixon, Ford and Reagan, and was an original host on CNN's Crossfire. He sought the Republican presidential nomination in 1992 and 1996. He ran on the Reform Party ticket in the 2000 presidential election. He co-founded The American Conservative magazine and launched a foundation named The American Cause. He has been published in Human Events, National Review, The Nation and Rolling Stone. His new book is called Churchill, Hitler, and The Unnecessary War: How Britain Lost Its Empire and the West Lost the World.

Well if you follow Buchanan he has always been against War - Gulf, Iraq, Balkans etc. - lets not forget Pat ran against the sitting President (Bush 1) in his own party and nearly won in 92. He marched in Seattle against the WTO, he is against NAFTA, MFN for China etc, he is against the FED, would abolish the IRS - Pat is a true Maverick and 100% American.

@Boldenberg Hitler also signed a non aggression pact with the Soviets ,but that wasn't worth the paper it was written on,also the Munich agreement,all Bluffs to Win time for his armaments production,any "agreement" Hitler made with the Zionists would be only temporary and certainly the Zionists could not have envisaged the scale of the assault that would befall European Jewry in 1933,though it was obvious that Hitler had dire plans for both the Jewish people and the conquered slavs.

I like Pat,but he is dead wrong on Hitler.Mein Kampf was written in 1925/26,Hitler laid it all out in Those Two Volumes that culminated in the finished article "Mein Kampf","Lebensraum "grabbed from the Slavs,His Plans for the destruction of European Jewry,Hitler also stated that the only Reason for standing armies is for the Ruthless exertion in War,He Was Rearming at a Mega Rate,Why?For Peace?,No Way Pat.
