@stikmstr Paul from Kittyhawk plays a Warr guitar now. He was one of Emmett's first first employees at SE. I believe he gave Tony Levin his first Stick lesson.
You were once my hero, Randy. What a walk down Memory Lane- the early days of The Stick. Whatever happened to you anyway? Hope you're not playing one of those Warr Guitars. If you are- I forgive you. You're probably still great and you never knew me anyway. Thanks for posting this vintage video- much appreciated
Oh yeah! Have all their albums and saw them many times in the early 80s in the LA area. I recall seeing this broadcast on KCET in Los Angeles, and have been hoping someone would post some of it. They added the 2nd stick dude for their 2nd album "Race for the Oasis."
Yeah!!..I remember seeing this program on a PBS fund drive when I was 19 back in California.I wonder why Kittyhawk only put out 3 albums(yes I mean albums)and were'nt more popular.Along with King Crimson, they were one of the first groups to use the Chapman Stick.I wonder why Paul,Daniel, and Randy aren't out there pushing the Stick like others?
This has been my favorite Kittyhawk piece since I first heard them when I was working at a record store. Paul Edwards gave me my one Stick lesson ever. Great guy. Wish I could get CDs of "Kittyhawk" and "Race for the Oasis." Hats off, gentlemen. It's great music. --Mark

Saw you guys open for Joan Armatradjing (sp?) at the Paramount (I think) in Seattle in 1980. Been a fan ever since.
