Missing iPhone Apps FIXED!! Restore missing apps

I have the iPhone 2g and I upgraded to 3.0 firmware WITHOUT removing all the folders from Categories and/or un-hiding them with Bossprefs. After the restore I was missing everything in those folders. **This fix will only work if you have SETTINGS**. Luckily I still had settings. Thanks man. My "settings" icon was missing. All I did was use the search for settings and did the restrictions thing. Good stuff.

If you lost you contacts icon, voice-memo icon or anyother icons after upgrading to IOS 5... then you should follow this method:

1) Connect your iPhone to iTunes & then sync them.

2) Now in iTunes, on left hand column, Right click on your device & then click "Restore from Backup".. & let your mobile restore... & try to sync again..

3) hopefully after that there will be a utility folder fond in your iPhone... & all your missing icons will be there... hope it will work for u!
