Out of My Head (SS + VB - YT Collab)

A poem written by Sis, on July 29 and put into music by me today, Aug 18.

Sista thank you so much! I haven't "written" a new melody since 2002. Not that I was worrying about it but I simply didn't even try to write anything anymore.

Aleishar sent those beautiful lyrics (Haiku as song) a couple of days ago and the melody just appeared while I was reading the poem.Then Waitswatcher added the music and made the whole song complete.

The same thing happened with your lyrics Sista +the way you sing the first line was a starting point for my melody.

This is litterally the second take on it and I find it imperfectly perfect! I hear that a couple of seconds are missing at the end, sorry about that, have no idea what happened.

PS: Putting music onto somebody else's words, I realized, forces me to be more creative and use rhythms/chords I would rarely use for my own lyrics. That's also why I had given up composing-It started to sound all the same to me.


PPS: I finally got myself that Windows MovieMaker and will hopefully learn how to use it. :-)
