hi mate im in australia in melbourne , and i was using my yukon digital 5x50 night vision and saw something spectacular ,i dont know if satelites are supposed to do this lol , but i saw what looked like a star high up traveling at a high rate of speed then slowed down to a full stop , and then zipped off in the other direction , do you think that would be a ufo ?

@KayWal1981 Shooting star is a common name for the visible path of a meteoroid as it enters the atmosphere to become a meteor.(Wiki) as also I have discredited that as it poses no 'tail' which is the gaseous exhaust of the burn in of the fragment / rock as it is heated to melting point by friction with Earth's atmosphere, the lead edge or front being the friction point and being brighter because it is the source of heat /light. FACT

I saw similar lights in Perth as I was testing out my new binocular. Tried to focus on a bright star and noticed it twice.
