  • Excellent video and very good performance! Thank you a lot for sharing your nice video!

  • I think non-violent dissent should be practiced, studied, practiced and deeply discussed ( to an extent it is, but even more) I wouldn't want to join a demonstration where there was a chance that the participants would be violent, but I believe that it is one of the most important rights and should be practiced exhaustively. I think that their should be a University dedicated to peace studies as well as peace action. This video demonstrates how limited dissent is just in this country.

  • The use of RICO statutes against protesters. The unreasonable restrictions on place, have to be so far from entrances that RNC delegates and clinic patients can barely see them. Precedents used against unpopular abortion protesters get applied to political protesters like Beinigism. The legal assault on protest rights really even goes all the way back to anti-apartheid protests of the 1980s. The F.A.C.E act. Buffer zones.

  • Oh really?

What has changed other than a catchy slogan ? (Hope & Change)

  • Yeah I was somewhat joking. Power corrupts, and it corrupts both parties very easily. Look at Chavez shutting down dissenting stations. The Russian who broke the story about the missing freighter is now running for his life. We have it better, but not much. My biggest complaint is leftists who have no problem with anti-abortion protesters losing their rights, but who cry foul when the same is applied to them at the RNC. I am pro-choice, but I can see rights slipping away.

  • Now the Democrats are in full power, so nothing bad like this should ever happen again (unless you are an anti-abortion protester, of course).

  • Great story, ineptsegue. I especially liked the conclusion at 7:48. As a society, we need to come up with a political movement devoted to ending the influence of money in elections and promoting peaceful protest. How we go about doing that is a great challenge.

  • Thanks for sharing this story.

Also for using Chumbawamba, I do love that song.

  • A chilling story dude.

I've heard similar reports from others in the same boat, on the same shores. Don't wanna say too much.

Seem it would be to counter act these statist, you need numbers and the media.

Without those, your gonna get roughed up.

Props for standing tall when the odds are against you Beingism.
