The 501st clones were meant to be clumsy in this film to more strongly resemble strorm troopers.

this proves that these are the two most powerful jedi left in the universe (excluding anakin since he's a sith now, and the EU) who can kick a bunch of clones' ass after all the jedis in the temples has been vanquished.

If Obi Wan, Yoda and Windu where at the temple when it was attcked it never would have fallen.
