This sword was just floating under my ponds waterfall when i picked it up. It looked still alive so I put it in some of the water from the pond only inside for a few hours. That was on Sunday. Its thursday and I can see new healthy growth. The sag is also doing well! Just shows how hardy plants are. And yes. I stopped the videos as my wife deals with PLENTY of my fishtank fun, (kids bad prior I hear)

  • @PrinceOfPersia042095 By the way, I only have 2 fluorescent full spectrum bulbs 15 watts each... surprisingly all my plants are doing fine and even growing moderately fast.

  • Hey Dustin,

Are there any plants you would recommend that do a exceptionally good job of removing nitrates?

I've got 3 swords, 2 anubias, java fern, moneywort, and moss ball in a 55 gallon.

    Thanks so much.
