For those who suffer from the jet plane sound produced by the stock cooler of 4870X2 -Accelero Xtreme is the solution.

Silent mode - you can't hear it ear close.
Full mode - you can barely hear it from 3m or with background music on while gaming
HDD sound in the video - WD Caviar Black 1TB (there are two of them actually and they are idle just spinning)

  • temps?

  • @german199denuevo

The description has it in bold :)

Can;t post it in comments for some unknown reason

  • hi can you tell me say your runing a game what temp do you get compared to the old cooler. thinking of getting x2 of these or should i go for watercooling

  • A major issue with these cards is the VRM temp. Even watercooling can't keep it below 80sC as far as i know (search for an exact model of WCblock overview to make sure you are not going to waste your money).

  • make sure you have got two-slot space between pci-x. my mobo is AsusP5QPro

i've added a link to the description of the video at the right to the results with accelero. sorry got no results for the stock cooler.
