Where do you get that green measuring board most modelers have?

YAY WARHAMMAH!!!!!

thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I'm barely getting into warhammer so I don't have any experience building/painting, and this tutorial helped me so much! it was easy, to understand, easy to follow, and you can tell you know exactly what you're talking about!

Finding this video made my day, I have gotten many people to start 40k, and this makes my life easier now that I can refer them to this video to teach them, as I don't have enough time to sit down with each person to show them. Great job, keep up the good work!

do you also do more advanced modeling like armor or cars? seems like you could be good at it

Hahaha, your a emo, stop playing with models and cut yourself again

Funny story. So I too am an experienced modeler. I was watching this vid to kinda check out your channel and what not and I was removing some excess bits from a used Lehman Russ I picked up. I must have heard you say be careful, dont cut yourself, etc etc at least 5 times. And what do I do? I was even cutting away but as the glue broke the knife tip went right into my finger, and nicked a heavy vein. So as I wrestled between dripping blood, headphones, and my cat, I missed the last 7 minutes :(
i glue on the legs, toso parts and the head but leave the arms, shoulderpads, and back pack off so that i can get to the detial of the model and not have to worry about getting paint where i dont want it

@Warpetrie I tend to put a pin in the arms so I can slide them on easily after assembly but for the purpose of this tutorial I kept it simple.

i remember when i started with gw models 9 years ago i didnt have a clipper so i just "ripped" the parts off with my hands :( and spinning the parts so that they break off the sprue...

@Johnni23 Yup, I was a twister, and didn't use a decent pair of clippers until a couple of years ago, then I wondered why I never had and how much less frustrating my many, many years of prior modelling could have been. - Mike

I can see this video being really useful for someone who's just getting into the hobby. :)
