Courtnall Tours New Mental Health Wards

Night and day is how Bruce Courtnall sees the difference between Eric Martin, where adult acute mental health patients are currently being treated, to the new units at the Patient Care Centre. Courtnall toured Eric Martin years ago and found it dark and isolating. Today he visited the new PCC mental health wards and left smiling - saying the new facility is open and airy and doesn't feel like a hospital.

Bruce along with brothers Russ and Geoff are hosting the Courtnall Classic July 22 to 24. The last time the well-known trio hosted the Classic they raised $2 million dollars and brought many Hollywood stars and elite athletes to the capital.

This year, the Courtnalls hope to raise $4 million. The money will be used to pay for equipment and programs at the acute adult and seniors mental health wards at the PCC.
